TRACKED MAIL

We understand how important your mail is. Every item of mail we handle is therefore important to us. However, there are occasions when certain key items of mail require a further level of security and priority eg settlement cheques, title deeds and mortgage papers.

Our LP Tracker system gives that extra re-assurance and ensures that your mail is tracked right through from our sorting office and then through to the Exchange. You receive confirmation the following morning that the tracked mail piece has been delivered. Call us now on 01383 826726 to find out how your business could benefit from LP Tracker.

New Service

Call & Collect Tracked Mail

Legal Post’s new Call & Collect Tracked Mail Service is ready to use from Monday the 19th October 2009. Important mail items that need to be received by your individual clients can now be collected and returned through the LP exchange network.

This new service which is an adaptation of our standard Tracked Mail system is competitively priced at £3.60 + vat per item (only £1.00 more than standard Tracked Mail) with £1.00 of this fee paid to the Host Exchange. A list of participating Host Exchanges can be found below.

When mailing Call & Collect Tracked Mail to clients simply locate the nearest Host Exchange then address the mail to your client c/o the LP address for the Host Exchanges.  A pack will be provided with the necessary forms and labels.  You would then let your client know to collect the mail from the Host Exchange the next day. Street addresses and postcodes are provided on the web-site. Your client would then collect and sign for the item from Reception (with proof of identification).  The client could also return the items in the same way using LP return addressed envelopes prepared by you.

With a series of Official Royal Mail Strikes starting on Thursday 22 October Call & Collect Tracked Mail can help the profession to maintain the smooth running of the Scottish Legal System during this time.  It is also likely to continue to be of good service once the strikes are over. Our new service has the full support of the Law Society of Scotland who is backing this initiative. Indeed The Law Society of Scotland will be a Host Exchange for Call & Collect Tracked Mail for your clients & their reception staff will assist with this process.

Registration for a Call & Collect Tracked Mail pack is free of charge. You would simply be invoiced (on a monthly basis) for each mail item sent.   Please call either myself, Craig Broderick or Cheryl Morrison on 01383826726 or Email alan.macdonald@firstscottish.com if you wish to register for use or require further assistance.
